Delivery Timings

Delivery time slots indicated are “preferred” and must not be considered as “mandatory”. However, we try to execute orders as per customer’s preference whenever possible. Generally, we categorize the timing in two-hour time slots. Same day orders are accepted till 3 PM, after which the orders are eligible for next day delivery[1].

Cash On Delivery

It’s not applicable for midnight services and we may not accept it in case we do not find it comfortable with some customers, areas or products[1].

Delivery Charges & Conditions

  • If for any reason, the delivery is “refused by recipient”, the order will be considered as delivery attempted and no refund / change of order is acceptable in this case. We however will try our best to convince the recipient for accepting delivery[1].
  • If there is some serious issue and delivery is not possible to any address/locality due to unavoidable circumstance (like extreme weather conditions, riots, strikes, elections, bandhs, during rush days etc), we will issue a Credit voucher of the paid amount or Refund a part/full amount depending on the nature of cancellation of the specific order[1].
  • Only one attempt for delivery will be made. Please confirm availability of the recipient before choosing a delivery time. If the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, a second attempt will not be made, and the order will be cancelled. No refund will be made in such a case[1].
  • For rescheduling an order, you need to inform us at-least 24 hours before the delivery date[1].
  • Execution of the order will be considered successful and complete in cases like: Wrong Address mentioned by sender, premises where delivery has to be made is locked, recipient of order is not available, and the recipient has refused to receive the order for personal reasons (not due to products or services of The White Cottage)[1].
  • Execution of the order will be considered successful and complete in case permission is not granted to our delivery executive to enter the delivery location. For example, orders where delivery locations are premises like hospitals, Govt agencies, societies, resorts, hotels, any personal or public property, etc. and the recipient number is not reachable[1].
  • In case you feel that the product received does not meet your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within 2 hours of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team, after looking into your complaint, will take an appropriate decision[1].
